INSULATION WITH EPOXIDE
Is realized depending on the destination: For the transport of water intended for industry after purification a base layer is disposed for connection with one or two layers (the base of Cinkopoks or feripoks) by Aireles system, with thickness of 30 to 60 microns then given final layer of epoxy resin with one or two layers realizing thickness of 300 to 400 microns, recommended optimum thickness 100 microns for one passage. After giving each layer a certain time have to be passed (each manufacturer recommends time) to give another layer. The layer thickness is measured in liquid state with device Elcometer epoxide obtained by mixing two components A and B according to the recommendation of the manufacturer and giving one or two layers depending on the requirements for thickness form 300 to 400 microns. For this type of resin we possess the certificate for use for drinking water.
EXTERNAL INSULATION WITH BITUMEN
NORMAL EXTERNAL INSULATION
Is performed by coating small strip of wool armoured glass dipped in melted bitumen in the body of pipe which one makes rotational movement about the axis and moves simultaneously axially enabling the body to support the entire length of pipe. Insulation thickness up to 3.5 mm and homogeneity control through isolation test by device Holiday test for electric penetration to 10 KV voltage.
REINFORCED EXTERNAL INSULATION
Is performed by coating small strip of wool armoured glass dipped in melted bitumen in the body of pipe which one makes rotational movement about the axis and moves simultaneously axially enabling the body to support the entire length of pipe. Insulation thickness up to 5.5 mm. Homogeneity of insulation is checked by apparatus for electric penetration (Holiday test) with voltage 20 kV.
